Details compiled for any characters wishing to investigate the plot that Andrew is sowing behind the scenes of the usual Ryslig chaos. I have had mod permission to create NPCs for the local industrial giants and am using those small liberties here.

Please note that these are only the details that have slipped through the cracks - Andrew is extremely thorough in covering himself after decades of hiding the construction of Rapture from the FBI and the IRS! If you have been given a lead I will note it here so that anyone investigating can use it to connect ICly somehow. The Businesses and Their Victims

Soderburg Steel: Not the largest producer of steel in Bavan, but decidedly the most efficient and modern. Lars Soderburg had developed the peninsula's version of Bessemer converters, which were costly and diminished the amount of machinery available, but doubled production on what machines were present. He began to offer stock and grew his financial means from it substantially as word of the quality of Soderburg Steel rose over the past year. An up and comer, to be sure.

Since November of (RL 2022), a few employees had gone missing. Low level, at first: a shift supervisor named Magnus. Darla from Accounting - poor Darla, who kept little ceramic animal figures all over her desk. Anyone who investigates the La Forteresse morgue will find that these two were found as victims of monsters: Magnus found with a vampire bite, Darla with her chest slashed open by vicious claws after having been shaken by the neck by ... well. There wasn't much left to be able to tell. The only way she could be identified would be by her personal effects - she always wore a silver locket with pictures of her parents, which would be visible in a picture of her with Lars Soderburg at the company picnic, on her desk.

In early January, Lars' personal secretary Mari reports his death to loyaute at the Narumi Detective Agency.

Lars Soderburg was found dead in his lavish home on New Year's Eve, when his secretary went to retrieve him for the company party. He was lying on the living room floor in a puddle of vomit and blood, a plate of untouched food on the coffee table beside him. Autopsy - which can be played/claimed/relayed by anyone at the morgue! - reveals that he had a high concentration of brodifacoum in his blood.

Also: I'm guessing his age, since they don't say how old he is specifically, but a character places him at "in his early forties" when they meet in 1945, and he dies in 1960.
